We Got This!
Custom Spray has been closely monitoring the ongoing outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Many of you know that the World Health Organization has upgraded this virus to a ‘global pandemic.’ CDC description: “an epidemic occurring worldwide, or over a very wide area, crossing international boundaries and usually affecting a large number of people.“.
As a small, family-owned, local business, we are taking precautionary measures to limit the exposure among our employees and customers. These measures will allow us to continue providing the same quality of service safely. Our employees and customers are the lifeblood of our business, and we are committed to their health and safety.
Weeds Don’t Stop Growing
Weeds aren’t going to stop growing, pests aren’t going to cease to exist, and trees still need food and protection to thrive. Since our services are mainly outdoors and performed by only one employee per truck, our exposure is going to be very limited.
Since we more often than not have no direct contact with our customers, not a lot will change. We’ll show up and treat your lawn, trees, or pests and leave a paper copy of your bill by your door as usual. We understand if you wish to ignore any knocking on the door. We will limit our contact to essential information only.

For our employees, we’ve briefed them on the importance of maintaining a clean, safe work environment and the importance of washing hands and reducing the number of times we touch our faces. Additionally, we are:
- Increasing the amount of cleaning and sanitizing intervals in our office and shop.
- We are closely monitoring the health of our employees.
- We are asking that visitors, non-employees, and customers refrain from visiting our facilities for the time being.
- We are reducing in-office meetings between employees as well as outside vendors.
- We are continuing to review the guidance of health agencies and the government for the health and safety of everyone.
In closing, we all must understand the precautions we are taking now are to prevent and slow the spread of the virus. We all need to be a little more cautious and conscientious with our physical interactions in our everyday lives. In a month or less, this will be much more under control. Meanwhile, we should use common sense and sanitary measures.
Thank you for your continued trust and confidence in Custom Spray as we navigate through this unprecedented situation. Keep in mind that we are not just a company. We are community members, neighbors, and friends. If there is some way in which we can help in the community, we are always willing to help make a difference.
